Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey (Osprey) is a multipurpose VTOL vertical take-off and landing plane. Such an unusual system ensures not only vertical take-off and landing, but also a very high cruising speed, combining the advantages of a helicopter and a turboprop transport. The main and so far only user of the V-22 is the US Marine Corps.
